Commissionaires BC is currently looking for Security professionals to work at a Government of Canada site in Summerland. As a Security Officer, you'll be responsible site access control, continuous foot and vehicle patrols of the interior and exterior of the building.
Payrate: $21.00/hour
We have the following permanent positions available:
- Saturday & Sunday 4pm - 12am (Starting Oct 1)
Your 'Must Haves':
- BC Security Workers License
- 5 years living in Canada, due to clearance requirements
- Class 5 Drivers License a clear driver’s abstract
- Basic First Aid / OFA 1
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in preparing security reports
- Proficient with MS Office and comfortable with using computers
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances
Job Duties:
- Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing solutions. Liaison between the site and the public
- Interior and exterior patrols, including extensive walking patrols
- Access Control and visitor verification
- Gate checks
- Lowering and raising of flags
- Snow clearing
