Position Overview:
Boy With A Knife Catering team is looking for a dependable, customer-focused individual to
support our busy delivery & catering operations. Based in Richmond, BC, our company provides high-
quality corporate catering services across the Greater Vancouver area. As part of our team,
you’ll be a representative of our brand, responsible for delivering orders with precision and
setting up food service at client locations & working certain events throughout the Summer. This role requires a blend of professionalism,
efficiency, and communication skills to ensure a seamless experience for our clients. This role is essential to our operations, contributing to client satisfaction, the smooth flow
of daily logistics, and team support and could lead to a permanent position.
Reports To: Corporate Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivery and Setup:
○ Conduct daily deliveries to corporate clients and event locations in the Greater
Vancouver area, adhering to scheduled delivery times.
○ Executes deliveries and pickups that are both time-efficient and logical.
○ Set up food service areas at client locations, ensuring that hot and cold items are
arranged professionally at all times.
○ Collect and return serving dishes, trays, and other materials from prior deliveries
to the kitchen.
2. Client Interaction:
○ Engage with clients in a courteous, professional, and charismatic manner during
deliveries, maintaining our company’s customer service standards.
○ Respond to client questions and assist with on-site needs to ensure smooth and
satisfactory delivery experiences.
○ Provide exceptional customer service when onsite for events
3. Operational Support:
○ Assist with kitchen receiving, inventory, and organization tasks as needed.
○ Support the Catering & Logistics Manager packing, loading, and organizing items for delivery.
○ Help maintain a clean and organized vehicle, including conducting regular vehicle
checks, fueling, and logging mileage and other necessary details.
○ Support driving responsibilities, ensuring deliveries are timely and efficient.
Tasks and Duties - Include but limited to
● Step in to assist with kitchen cleaning and organization or event-related tasks as needed
during busy periods.
● Step in to support the team during busy periods, helping with any tasks that need
immediate attention.
● Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the delivery vehicles, including regular
vehicle checks, fueling, and cleaning schedules.
Qualifications:
● License: Class 5 license with a clean driving abstract.
● Physical Requirements: Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
● Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
● Experience: Previous experience in a customer service is preferred.
● Knowledge: Familiarity with the Vancouver and Richmond areas is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
