About the Role
Data Eaver is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support multiple projects (2–3 concurrently) for a high-profile client. This is a full-time position with flexible work arrangements depending on project needs.
The Scrum Master will guide cross-functional teams in applying Agile methodologies, facilitating delivery, and enabling digital service transformation. You will play a critical role in ensuring delivery teams achieve their goals while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor cross-functional delivery teams in Agile principles, policies, and practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Coach teams on Agile estimation, dependency management, sprint commitments, and removing blockers.
- Act as an intermediary between product owners and delivery teams to promote clear communication and alignment.
- Guide product owners in road-mapping, reporting, and release planning.
- Maintain and report on delivery metrics (velocity, burndown charts, backlogs, quality metrics) using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Support digital service delivery activities such as user research and usability testing.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and collaboration.
QualificationsMust Have
- Active Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM, CSM – attach proof).
- 5+ years experience working within an Agile development environment.
- 4+ years experience facilitating Agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, demos, retros).
- 2+ years experience coaching teams in Agile principles and fostering continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
- 2+ years experience delivering training via web-based interactive tools (MS Teams, Zoom).
- 2+ years experience in sprint and backlog planning aligned to product owner priorities.
- 2+ years experience with Agile backlog management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
- 5+ years exposure to software development processes, standards, and best practices.
- 2+ years working in or with the public sector.
- 2+ years working with teams that integrate UX design, service design, or human-centered design.
