SOUTHLAND is currently offering a $3,000 hiring bonus for all new School Bus Drivers! This will be paid out in three payments of $1,000 (3 months, 6 months and 9 months).

Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday - no mandatory nights or weekend work
- Split shifts (approximately 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon)
- Additional lunch runs and charter work is also available
Job Description
School Bus Drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. Successful candidates must be committed to safety and customer service and will possess superior oral and written communication skills. Routes fall between the hours of 6:30 am - 9:30 am in the morning and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the afternoon.
Requirements
- Valid Class B driver’s license preferred (training provided to upgrade from a Class G)
- 3-year driver’s abstract with safe driving record
- Undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination, drug and alcohol testing, criminal record search, vulnerable sector clearance and reference checks
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.02 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
