Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sandwiches and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and established recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing orders and handling cash transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and upselling menu items.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed at all times to maintain quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Qualifications
- Previous Subway experience preferred.
- Must have access to reliable transportation (car required).
- Strong food preparation skills with knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with patrons.
- Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and kitchen experience is beneficial.
