When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.
Description
The Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure is a 5k or 1k walk or run.
This year’s event will be taking place on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Support set up - movement of tents, table, chairs, hanging banners, fencing and décor on the site- Must be able to lift at least 10 lbs
- Some lifting of boxes required
- Able to take on any job as required and work as a team
Why we need you
It is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause.
