Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers while ensuring exceptional service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load, unload and install mats
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including customer signatures and any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Engage in heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading products.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience in commercial driving, with a valid Class 5 driver's license
- Familiarity with moving logistics and best practices for safe transportation of goods.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to ergonomic standards.
