We are a 164-room hotel with full conference facilities and restaurant, Table Food and Drink located in central Canmore, Alberta.
We are seeking dependable, personable individuals with a keen sense of detail to clean our guestrooms to the satisfaction of the hotel and guests.
Duties include:
- Refreshing guest amenities, making beds, dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, shampooing carpets, washing walls & windows, delivering guest request, delivering & picking up linen/glassware, emptying and disposing of elevator landings recycling & garbage, aiding laundry
- Able to complete 15 room per shift.
- Report maintenance problems in public area immediately to room checkers,
- Ensure lost & found items are returned to the housekeeping office.
- Support and participate our hotel’s recycling program.
- Be familiar with hotel facilities, housekeeping/laundry chemicals & equipment.
- Participate in on-going training with equipment, tasks, and duties.
- Be knowledgeable in Health & Safety, WHMIS, SDS & PPE
- Ensure & provide safe & healthy environment for both guests & staff.
- Ensure hotel security is protected by following the proper
procedures. - Cleaning public areas, Pool, gym
- Stocking housekeeping closets with sheets and amenities
- Delivering items to guests
- Mopping and vacuuming public areas
Salary:
- $18.50 per hour (starting wage) + Summer bonus
- Regular pay raise (after 6 months and 1 year based on performance)
