You have excellent leadership skills and can balance multiple administrative functions and front line service. You prioritize guest experience and teamwork, and take pride in providing our guests with the best vacation and recreation experience possible.
You Will:
- Assist the Retail & Rental Manager with training and coaching a successful and enthusiastic team of employees.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and provide reporting to the Retail Manager.
- Demonstrate a commitment to exceeding guest expectations on a daily basis.
- Perform all cash handling duties (opening, cash balancing, coin orders and closing).
- Merchandise the department displays, ensuring that the most common products are easily accessible for replenishment and customer accessibility.
- Work closely with the Retail Manager to discuss planning, sales promotions and advertising campaigns.
- Ensure effective inter-departmental communication across the resort.
- Assist with employee performance reviews and any disciplinary discussions.
- Be an advocate for health and safety, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist the Retail Manager with any additional duties as assigned.
You Have:
- Previous retail supervisory experience.
- Inventory management experience.
- Extensive guest service experience, excelling with diverse customers.
- Cash handling experience, including opening, balancing, coin orders, and closing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS systems.
- An engaging and outgoing personality.
- Passion for mountain culture and the resort environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
