Job Overview: We are looking for a talented Restaurant and Event Manager to lead our vineyard restaurant team while also coordinating and managing a diverse range of events, including corporate functions, workshops, private parties, and weddings. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with excellent organizational skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to provide exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the vineyard restaurant, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
- Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of all events, including corporate meetings, workshops, weddings, and private parties.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and create tailored event experiences.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff, vendors, and service teams to ensure flawless event execution.
- Lead, train, and motivate restaurant and event staff to provide top-tier customer service.
- Monitor event budgets, restaurant inventory, and ensure profitability through effective cost management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in both the restaurant and event settings.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and vineyard as a premier event destination.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to build long-term business growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in restaurant management and event planning, preferably in a vineyard, hospitality, or luxury setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage both restaurant operations and event logistics simultaneously.
- Experience managing weddings and large corporate events is a plus.
- Knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as wine pairing, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in event management software, point of sale (POS) systems, and basic financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tock, Square and Dubsado are a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying hours based on event schedules.
