Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive an outstanding dining experience while managing staff, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the restaurant team to provide high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee daily operations, including managing staff schedules, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, including interviewing potential candidates for various positions within the restaurant.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation that meets our quality standards.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing sales reports, managing budgets, and controlling costs effectively.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices in a restaurant setting.
- Experience in team management with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and health regulations relevant to the kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers, staff, and vendors.
- Previous experience in cooking or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant's operational needs.
