GENERAL MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

· Understand the CEOs vision for the restaurant

· Communicate and work with empathy with multiple stakeholders - suppliers, contractors, employees, managers, executive chef, CFO etc.

· Deliver an outstanding level of hospitality, ensuring every guest receives exceptional service.

· Lead by example and support staff in executing daily service to the highest standards, working service and being on-site 5 days/week.

· Maintain a strong floor presence, actively monitoring service quality and guest satisfaction.

· Implement a system for problem solving and be available to assist when not on site

· Align all aspects of operations with the expectations and vision of the leadership team.

· Hire, train, and coach a high-performing front- and back-of-house team.

· Oversee scheduling, inventory, and ordering to ensure efficiency and cost control.

· Monitor daily sales, labour, and expenses to meet financial targets.

· Manage events bookings and delegate responsiblities for their smooth running

· Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and labour regulations.

· Report to the CEO, CFO and HR as required

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-volume setting

· A passion for hospitality and leading by example

· Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Experience with scheduling, inventory, and POS systems

· Smart Serve Certified; Food Handler Certificate an asset

· Leadership and Management certification/ qualifications an asset

· Excel and bookkeeping knowledge required
