Resort Server - Winter (Seasonal)

Fernie Alpine Resort is looking to fill the position of of Server, at one of Fernie Alpine Resort's outlets. We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized candidate with excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will be energetic and adaptable, with a keen willingness to learn new skills. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be flexible in their approach to work. A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. You Will:

• Ensure a safe, comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
• Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
• Open/Close with side duties as per the restaurant systems
• Practice approved food handling procedures and ongoing cleanliness
• Provide non-stop team work with your teammates and managers
• Sell the Resort image and promotions to all guests
• Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
• Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
• Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
• Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

You Have:

• Previous serving experience required
• Food Safe Certificate is an asset
• Serving it Right certification required
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and a positive attitude

Compensation and Benefits:
