The work schedule is “hybrid”. It consists of a combination of workdays at the mine site and workdays at the Laval or Rouyn-Noranda office (or telework). Over a 4-week period, this schedule is made up of 7 consecutive working days at the mine site and 10 working days off-site.
On-site shifts are 11 hours a day and off-site shifts are 7.5 hours a day.
Private air transportation to and from cities such as Montreal, Quebec City, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli and Inuit communities, depending on where you live.

HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Reporting to the IT Supervisor, you will be responsible for analyzing the needs of the network systems at Raglan Mine, as well as at the Laval and Rouyn-Noranda offices and at the Quebec’s port. Your main duties will be:
Provide recommendations on products and systems.
Perform installation, start-up, and maintenance of all Raglan Mine’s network systems as well as at Laval, Rouyn-Noranda, and at Quebec’s port.
Coordinate planning, scheduling, and executing of the work related to preventive maintenance, corrective and predictive equipment under the responsibility of the network section of the department.
Working on all projects surrounding the area of telecommunication and networking for the sites supported by the department by applying project management concepts.
Help increase reliability, efficiency, and security systems by providing innovative and appropriate solutions.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Hold a college certificate in networking or an equivalent diploma.
Have relevant experience, ideally in an industrial environment.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Ability to analyze and solve problems and be able to adapt to deal with the unexpected.
Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls, Fortinet certification (an asset).
Understanding of Cisco environments, certification such as CCNA (an asset).
Experience in IP telephony and PBX and knowledge of wireless, microwave, and satellite networks (assets).
