We are currently seeking Relief Justice Workers who are available to work flexible schedules in our adult community residential facilities (CRF’s).
As a Relief Justice Worker, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients with:
- Building trust and rapport to support their rehabilitation and reintegration.
- Monitor safety and security within the residence and the community.
- Help residents access vital services—housing, employment, healthcare, and more.
- Collaborate with probation/parole officers, internal teams, and community partners.
- Respond to crises with professionalism and care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with administrative tasks.
SLCS provides free on-site training sessions from qualified professionals, professional development funds every year, team and agency wide events as well as internal opportunities to move around or gain full time employment with the agency as part of this role!
This role has flexible scheduling requirements including days, evenings, weekends, some overnights and public holidays to best match with your schedule.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree or 2 – 3-year College Diploma or working through your education
- Standard First Aid/CPR – Level C
- Valid G2 or G class Driver’s License
- Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is an asset.
This position requires a clear Police Check with vulnerable sector screening, at the applicant’s cost, as per SLCS policy.
