Evans Law Office is looking for a Receptionist/Legal Assistant. As a Receptionist/Legal Assistant, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our law office. Your primary responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as initial client contact, opening files, managing client communications, scheduling appointments, data entry, making bank deposits and managing the mail. The ideal candidate will also have experience as a legal assistant and be able to provide overflow support to the other legal assistants as necessary. With your superior organizational abilities and attention to detail, you will ensure efficient administrative support. Your premium skills in customer service will enhance our client's opinion of our office, while relevant skills in data entry, clerical tasks and as a legal assistant will maintain our office's functionality. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Experience in clerical and administrative roles
- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
- Legal Assistant Diploma
- Experience as a legal assistant
- Knowledge of Unity (ESILaw) is an asset
- Experience in a law office setting is a plus
- Strong proofreading and filing abilities
