Overview
Allura Skin & Laser Centre is seeking a receptionist with a medical aesthetics background to join our client care team. This is a client-facing position ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, managing front desk operations, and supporting both clients and clinicians in their treatment journey.
If you have experience as a medical aesthetician and want to grow your hours and responsibilities over time — including supporting laser hair removal treatments — this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities
Front Desk & Client Services
- Greet clients warmly and professionally
- Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage appointment bookings
- Take payments, issue receipts, and reconcile daily transactions
- Keep the reception and waiting area clean, calm, and organized
- Provide basic information about treatments, policies, and promotions
Administrative Support
- Coordinate with aestheticians to manage treatment flow
- Assist with front desk inventory and restocking
- Monitor treatment room readiness and support light cleaning tasks
Sales & Client Engagement
- Promote skincare products and service packages
- Upsell add-on treatments and educate clients on at-home care
- Help support client retention through thoughtful follow-ups
Social Media & Marketing Support
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Aesthetician background is required (2 years experience)
- Experience with Cynosure Elite Laser is a strong asset
- 1+ year front desk or customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong verbal communication — calm, confident, and clear
- Professional, well-groomed, and client-care focused
- Comfortable using booking software (Jane or similar)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
