Your Mission:
- Ensure that all documentation systems (SOPs, Forms and Diagrams) are in place and meet the legal/quality requirements
- Perform periodic review of documents such as SOP reviews, Log reviews and others;
- Monitor, issue and retrieve controlled documents, and the dispositioning of superseded or obsolete documents;
- Ensure records are retained in accordance with A&D’s record retention policy and GMP requirements;
- Review logs and compliance records (e.g. change control, non-conformances, deviations, complaint log, destruction, etc.);
- Support the QAC Manager hosting self-inspections, external (regulatory and partner audits);
- Conduct routine internal inspections and support supplier qualification audits.
- Review and approve minor risk-based complaints, deviations, product returns, destructions, CAPAs, and validation of pack-outs and equipment, as required;
- Assist in developing training content and tracking completion.
- Proactively identify quality risks and recommend improvements to processes and SOPs;
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance quality culture
- Participates in receiving and shipping controlled substances;
- Conduct monthly physical inventory count and reporting of controlled substances;
- Ensures Monthly/Annual reports are accurate and submitted to Health Canada
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor of Science or health science-related degree;
- Minimum 5year experience in a Quality Assurance, related role preferred;
- Previous experience participating in regulatory and client audits.
- Results-driven with a strong focus on process improvement.
- Problem-solving mindset with a strategic and analytical approach.
- Knowledge of GMPs, and HC compliance requirements for the wholesaling and the importation of pharmaceuticals;
- Strong knowledge of Medical Device Regulations, preferred;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and presentation skills;
- Strong record keeping and time management skills;
- Requires minimal supervision and has ability to work effectively in teams with multiple projects under tight deadlines; and
- English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
