Summary:
The QA/QC Technician is responsible for being the leadership resource to QC team members, providing knowledge, motivation, support, and advice. QA/QC Technician encourage team effort and supportive attitudes between workers.

- Experience in the nutraceutical or food related industry.
- A bachelor’s degree in food sciences.
- Self-motivated with proven leadership skills
- Must have the ability to make sound judgment and good decisions regarding quality and wholesomeness of product.
- Able to prioritize/adjust quickly to changing work environment with minimal supervision to meet changing plant needs.
- Solid decision-making skills.
- Excellent English communications skills (verbal, written, listening, conveying messages)
Job Duties:
- Issuing CoAs (for logistic and shipping department)
- RM qualification and collecting all documents from suppliers
- Suppliers’ qualification and risk assessment
- NON-GMO project
- Register of plastic and glass on monthly base
- Sharp object control
- Food defense coordinator
- FSUP/FSMA (international suppliers)
- Packaging specification for each product
- Mandatory and additional training for both facilities
- Daily task assigned by QC/QA supervisor (releasing on hold products, customer complains, etc.)
- Cleaning verification coordination
- Coordinating of RM testing
- DCR reports
- Pre-operation sanitation inspection
- Multi-quat range testing
- ATP swabbing
- Environmental testing, each month collecting water, air and swabs samples and send to lab
- GMP weekly check list
- Packaging quality check
- Collecting samples from packaging
- Mock recall
- Verification of all QC reports
- Thermohydrometer calibration
- Take samples for environmental testing monthly
- Act as back up QA in the absence of QA/QC supervisors
- Other related duties as assigned by the QA/QC supervisor
Requirements:
- Possession of Diploma or University Degree in Food Science.
- Skilled in quality processes and statistical techniques.
- knowledgeable about measurement and test equipment.
- Knowledge of a range of Regulatory Requirements, Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Good knowledge of quality control statistics and documentation, as well as adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Be able to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a good attendance and safety record.
- Full time Monday to Friday, in office availability required

- High degree of flexibility and adaptability to take up additional duties and cross training
- Occasional overtime
