Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment after use.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper waste disposal.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly to ensure smooth service flow.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the kitchen manager or supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration in a hospitality setting.
