Job Summary
RIC Power Corp., a manufacturer of low and medium voltage switchgear, including protection and control systems, is looking for a Project Manager to join its team in Burnaby, BC.
The project manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects by defining milestones, managing resources, mitigating risks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality and budget adherence.
Requirements
- Electrical engineering degree
- Project management experience, PMP an asset
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution
Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Define or document existing project scope, goals, and deliverables, and create a detailed project plan outlining timelines, resources, and milestones.
- Budget Management: Track project expenses against the budget, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints and reporting variances as needed.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders (internal and external), providing updates on progress, changes, and any issues that arise.
- Documentation: Maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, meeting notes, and lessons learned for future reference.
- Project Closure: Conduct post-project evaluations, gather feedback, and ensure proper closure procedures are followed, including final reporting and handover of deliverables.
- Ad hoc duties as requested
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
