Project Manager, HVAC
Provide daily support to our HVAC and installations team members. Maximize both effectiveness and efficiency of construction and installation crews. Ensure profitability targets are met, while finishing jobs on time and ahead of budget. Cultivate relationships with project managers and subcontractors. Take proactive measures to ensure the health and safety of our team members and communities.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Plan, organize, direct and supervisor installation teams.
- Coordinating the preparation of drawings, material lists, safety plans, and field installation with site crews.
- Coordinate delivery of equipment.
- Manage construction timelines and employee scheduling.
- Ensure company safety policy is adhered to on all projects.
- Attend pre-construction meetings to ensure communication and coordination between contractors, project manager, office staff and employees.
- Liaison with project owners, architects and engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, and tradespersons.
- Troubleshoot any project issues that may arise and take appropriate measures to correct.
- Analyze drawings and specifications for an in-depth understanding of project requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of services, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure client satisfaction throughout the life cycle of the project.
- Prepare reports and OEM manuals.
- Prepare monthly progress billing.
- Track and maintain detailed files for site-specific activities.
- Issue purchase orders and order equipment.
- Research and review invoices for projects.
- Site visits to record accurate information for detailed materials take-offs and cost estimates.
- Assist senior estimator in preparing estimates including labour, material, subcontractors and time requirements for tenders and HVAC work.
- Follow up on quotations to determine status.
- Supervise the commissioning and handover procedures, guaranteeing that projects meet and exceed client expectations.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction or project management field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and understand project specifications, drawings and details
- Knowledge in construction codes applicable to mechanical building systems
- Ability to learn and work with Software
- Excellent Relationship Building and Communication Skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
