Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager Assistant to support our project management team in overseeing large-scale restoration and mitigation projects. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role provides an excellent opportunity for growth and hands-on experience in the construction and restoration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of large loss mitigation and restoration projects.
Maintain and track project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
Organize and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
Communicate regularly with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
Help coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment for each project.
Monitor project progress and assist with identifying and resolving any issues or delays.
Support the preparation of project reports, proposals, and presentations.
Assist with site visits, inspections, and meetings as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or relevant certifications in construction or project management preferred).
Previous experience in construction, project management, or a related field is a plus.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management software.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of construction terminology, processes, and safety standards is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
