Alberco Construction is hiring a Project Coordinator for our Water and Sewer infrastructure projects in the Edmonton area.
This role is site-based. You will work closely with the Site Superintendent and Project Manager.
The ideal candidate has previous experience in the construction industry and can provide references of this.
Work Responsibilities
· Review and prepare submissions of shop drawings and product information
· Use of Autocad or similar software to layout survey information
· Procurement of Materials required for Construction
· Scheduling and coordination of subcontractors
· Valid Driver’s License and Transportation
Qualifications
The following qualifications are required:
· Engineering or Technician background and current EIT or CET designation in Civil
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
· Basic skills in using AutoCAD
· Basic knowledge of Surveying
· Strong Verbal and Written English Communication
The following will be considered an asset:
· Previous experience with Surveying
· Proficient use of Microsoft Project
· Previous General Contractor Experience
Compensation: Rate of Pay will be commensurate with experience.
