Coleman Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in coordinating & estimating projects in ICI, Agricultural, and Residential sectors ranging from $50'000 - $5'000'000.
Suitable candidates would be responsible for the following in their daily role:
-Quantity take-offs for estimates and material orders
-Prepare and distribute tender invitations
-Review tender submission
-Read and interpret drawings, specifications and bid sheets
-Preparing preliminary proposal drafts
-Preparing tender submission packages
-Preparing project document binders for project managers and superintendents
-Preparing draft schedules for projects
-preparing monthly invoice logs for monthly invoicing
-Prepare draft contract documents for project managers
-Conduct Shop drawing reviews
-Conduct site safety audits
-Prepare subtrade contracts
-Prepare and maintain safety records
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Minimum 1 year construction experience in Canada
-Intermediate knowledge and experience in Building Construction
-Strong knowledge of computers, and programs such as MS office and blubeam
-Able to read and thoroughly understand project drawings and specifications
-Able to Communicate clearly with clients and management personal
-Able to communicate clearly with subtrades
-Able to demonstrate and enforce safe construction procedures
-Able to work under pressure and long unusual hours when required
-Must have valid driver's license and transportation
-Able to work independently and in teams
-Must read, write, and speak English
-Must be eligible to work in Canada
Assets:
-Fully Bilingual (French & English)
-Construction Field Experience
-Surveying Experience
-Experience working with project management software such as Procore or Buildertrend
-Post Secondary education in a relevant program
-Health and Safety training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
