POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a Project Coordinator, Clinical Operational Excellence to work within Programs and Services to advance operational projects aligned with Holland Bloorview’s strategic plan: Transformative Care, Inclusive World: Holland Bloorview 2030. Reporting to the Senior Director – Client Flow and Clinical Operational Excellence, this role will primarily focus on coordinating project activities related to both inpatient and ambulatory areas, including support and analysis for specific projects to ensure that projects run smoothly and all team members are aligned. This role provides an opportunity to make an impactful contribution across Holland Bloorview's Programs & Services, supporting teams who work to meet the needs of children, youth and families living with disability and developmental differences.
This is a 12-month contract position, and is a hybrid role with onsite, and the option for offsite, work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the preparation of project charters and project scopes with managers and Directors
- Coordinate and implement strategies to ensure timely execution of multiple/simultaneous project activities across Programs & Services
- Support the development and monitoring of timelines for projects, and documentation for all initiatives/projects
- Perform/assist with internal and external stakeholder engagement including interviews, surveys, focus groups
- Conduct literature reviews and secondary market research as needed
- Perform/assist with database design, data entry, data quality, and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations including data analysis of data sets
- Support a culture of inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility and anti-racism (IDEAA)
- Support and assist with project and related administrative tasks as required
- Facilitate other ad-hoc smaller projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in health or business administration (preferred) or 3 years related experience in project coordination/ management with a relevant undergraduate degree (e.g. Health Sciences/Business Administration)
- Highly proficient interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Well-developed organization, time management and priority-setting skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio)
- Experience with quantitative data collection and analysis (Excel)
- Experience planning and facilitating small group sessions
