Position Summary

The Product Operations Administrator is a key member of the Product Operations Team. In this role, you manage the lifecycle of incidents and proactively monitor product systems. You collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers, Customer Service Teams, and remote team members to resolve day-to-day incidents and issues related to Inovatec products and hosting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve incidents and problems escalated by various teams, customers, and system alerts, including on-call responsibilities. Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.
  • Participate in day-to-day product operations, including deployment of new releases and maintenance of the product hosting infrastructure—covering patching, disaster recovery, backup management, and related tasks.
  • Recommend processes and technologies to improve team efficiency and overall operational effectiveness.

Technical Skills Required

  • Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends.
  • Strong technical experience with common database technologies such as SQL Server, web application, .NET hosting, and Microsoft Azure Cloud.
  • Knowledge of access management, administration, and application support.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, CMDB, and change management.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, including backups, upgrades and patching, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery.
  • Proficient in technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, SQL Server, PowerShell, .NET, PagerDuty, New Relic, Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, Jira, Confluence, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint.

Non-Technical Skills Required

  • Strong problem-solving skills, leveraging internal and external resources.
  • Analytical and process-oriented, with a proven ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolve conflicts, and ensure follow-through.
  • Exceptional incident troubleshooting and root cause documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in production application support and incident response within a cloud-hosted platform.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web and SQL servers.
  • Preferred Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
