Nicholas Dean Outdoors at Yellow Cedar Lodge
We are British Columbia’s premier wild salmon and steelhead outdoor adventure destination. Nicholas Dean boasts the fact they are the only outdoor adventure company in North Western BC that can offer a different fishing adventure every day and each time you come to the Lodge. We have access to over 50 rivers and lakes, salt water fishing, fly and conventional fishing, all species of salmon and trout. Not to mention all the outdoor adventure sports as well!
Located on right on the Skeena River, Yellow Cedar Lodge sits on a 32acre property, just a 12-minute drive from Terrace BC. We host 8 to 14 guests a week, with 12 guest rooms, gym, dining room, games room, cedar dry room and plenty of outside areas.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who adapts well to changing routines and environment.
Prep Cook/ Dishwasher - Lodge Worker
(Cooking/Prep/ Dishwashing/Cleaning)
Seasonal Position – Fall 2025- September 1 th 2025 to November 5th 2025 and
5 to 6days a week (sometimes will have to work the 7th day when needed)
40 to 54 hours per week, based on 9.5 hours a day with a 30minute unpaid break
Duties Include
· We are a small staff where everyone works together to provide outstanding Hospitality to our guests.
· Assist Chef with preparation of food, plating and service
· General Lodge and Kitchen Cleaning
· Pre Dinner-Service and Guest arrival programs
· Dinner Service
· Lunch prep and setup
Shifts
· Afternoon/Evening Shifts (5 to 6 days a week)
o Start times can change slightly daily due to the guest fishing schedule, and season
o Start times can start between 12pm and 2:30pm, and run to 930pm to 12am
· This subject to change based on bookings.

· $181.50 day rate

Qualifications
· Must be eligible to work in Canada
· 1 to 2 years of Experience in Kitchens
· Must have BC Serving it Right Certificate
· Driving License
- Must be able to get yourself to and from work. We are a 12minute drive from downtown Terrace, there are no buses, so must have a vehicle or transportation
