Roberts Equipment is looking for a Precision Technology Specialist to join the team!

Job Responsibilities
Sales Duties:
- Maintains and updates prospect lists and initiates calls for prospective customers
- Performs follow up calls to all customers who have previously bought units from the company
- Builds quotes for equipment and provides information to customer
- Identifies and troubleshoots hardware and software issues over the phone and on the field with customers and technicians.
- Works with Sales Team to provide Precision Farming Solutions to customers
- Reviews dealer portal and downloads new firmware, as required
- Attends yearly trade shows representing and follows up with leads after the trade show
- Responsible for the sales and service of all Guidance systems and any related products for all manufacturers
- Communicates with service team to ensure quality control of parts and equipment
- Delivers to customer, as needed
- Keeps track of lost sales in business system as required
- Communicates effectively with and provides service to customers in person or over the phone
- Researches and provides customer incentives, if they are available
General Duties:
- Develops and maintains an efficient, current file and record management system both for electronic and paper correspondence and documents
- Maintains complete knowledge of and complies with company policies, procedures and standards
- Reviews job processes and practices to ensure continuous improvement to the company’s products, services, quality and efficiencies
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure.
- Maintains a positive working relationship with team members and management in a team environment
- Sets an example for the staff of the Dealership by arriving to work on time, leaving at the appropriate time, keeping appointments, respecting the time of others and behaving in a professional manner
Education & Experience
- University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Agricultural or Construction, Technology or a related field
- Technical agricultural and/or construction equipment experience is preferred
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related customer service or sales role
- Strong understanding of agricultural equipment and practices
- Must be comfortable with current technology. Proficient with the following computer environments: Current Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer

- Location: Potential to be based out of any of the following locations: Lucknow, Walton, Mount Forest, Chesley, Owen Sound or Meaford, ON.
