Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions, providing high-quality care to patients of all ages. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric issues, including pain management.
- Administer medications as required and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and post-treatment care.
- Perform minor surgical procedures when necessary.
- Collect data for patient assessments and treatment evaluations.
Experience
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid license to practice podiatry.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to podiatry and general medicine.
- Knowledge of acute care practices is beneficial.
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in data collection methods for patient assessments.
- Previous experience in a medical office environment is advantageous.
