Job Description


As a Turndown Attendant at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you play a key role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests during the evening hours. You are responsible for providing turndown service in guest rooms, ensuring comfort, cleanliness, and personalized touches that reflect Fairmont’s luxury standards. Your attention to detail and discreet service will help enhance the guest experience and support our commitment to excellence.

Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $19.48/hour
Start Date: August 2025

Job Duties Include:

  • Perform evening turndown service in occupied guest rooms, including tasks such as refreshing towels, emptying trash, closing drapes, dimming lights, and preparing the bed for sleep.
  • Replenish in-room amenities, water, and other guest preferences based on brand standards
  • Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Report any maintenance issues, lost & found items, or room discrepancies to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Monitor, restock, and organize housekeeping carts and closets with linens, amenities, and supplies

Qualifications


Your Skills & Qualifications:

  • Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in a luxury hotel environment is an asset.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.

You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
