Mako Mechanical is a locally owned company completing mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC work throughout Metro Vancouver. Our team works with a range of clients in service work, with a focus on servicing property management companies and new construction (Tenant Improvement, Commercial Warehouses, Re-Piping).
As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for an Estimator for Plumbing to join our team. (Immediate Start)
Requirements and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience
- Experienced in estimation of service work industry, including renovations, retrofits, upgrades, and emergency repairs, highrise, and commercial.
- Experienced in Estimation, Sales of Plumbing
- Excellent people skills as well as communication
- Highly organized and excellent at following through
- Demonstrated ability to successfully prospect, negotiate and close new business with superior cold calling skills
- Post-secondary education an asset
- Strong written/oral communications skills

Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Trade knowledge and/or experience
- Highly developed organizational & planning skills, time management skills
- Understand and evaluate problems while identifying the appropriate solution
- Develop knowledge in mechanical systems
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and ensure clients continue to have a high level of customer satisfaction
- Provide superior customer service while resolving client issues
- Look for new customers and existing ones
- Prepare quotations and participate tender for new jobs
- Work as a team with the technician and provide support based on the estimate
- Help to find alternate solutions to the technician when needed
