Summary
As a Snow Plow Operator at Bugaboo Landscaping Ltd., you will play a vital role in ensuring safe and accessible environments during winter months. Your expertise in snow removal will contribute directly to our mission of delivering top-notch service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Operate snow plow equipment efficiently to clear snow from roads, driveways, and parking lots.
- Monitor weather conditions to determine the need for snow removal services.
- Perform routine maintenance on snow plow equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client requests and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- Reliable attitude: shows up on time, communicates clearly, and works safely
- A clean Class 5 drivers abstract (no major infractions)
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license—full (non‑GDL) licence required
- Reliable transportation to/from our yard in SE Calgary (transit access is limited)
- Experience operating a plow truck and/or skid‑steer
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices is an asset.
