Fishbone By The Lake, located in Stouffville and considered one of the Best patios in Ontario is searching for a Pizzaiolo.
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste, while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.
Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards.
- Cook pizzas in accordance with customer orders, ensuring proper cooking times and temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and cooking equipment.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen efficiency.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques with a focus on pizza making.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices within the food service industry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork in the kitchen.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar kitchen setting is preferred but not required.
