Pipelayers/Operators
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Pipelayers/Operators to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing and maintaining pipelines for various utilities, including water, gas, and sewage systems. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, safety protocols, and the ability to operate heavy machinery effectively. The Pipelayer will work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, and sewage systems.
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and layout.
- Utilize pipe lasers for precise alignment of pipelines.
- Conduct utility locating to avoid damage during excavation.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as needed for pipeline installations.
- Assist in welding tasks related to pipeline connections.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and forklift.
- Strong understanding of pipeline installation techniques and plumbing systems.
- Experience with concrete finishing and forming processes.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately for effective project execution.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
