Physician Assisstant (IMG)

Job Summary:

We are an established comprehensive care center located with two locations in East York and York. Ontario, and we're excited to welcome a dedicated healthcare professional to our growing team! We are seeking someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality care and fosters a safe, supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time as our clinic expands. While most work will be conducted in person, there is an online component that includes some remote work.

Required Qualifications:

● Experience in healthcare settings

● Proficient with technolgy

● Knowledgeable with EMR systems (ACCURO)

● Strong ability to provide safe, high-quality patient care

● Capable of working independently and efficiently

● Excellent time management and organizational skills

● Effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary team environment

● Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

● Proficiency in both written and verbal communication

● Ability to multitask, adapt to direction from supervisors, and prioritize tasks effectively

● IMGs are welcome to apply, although this is not a requirement

Responsibilities:

● Deliver safe and exceptional patient care

● Assist with physical examinations

● Present cases to physicians and assist in developing treatment plans

● Complete patient notes, consultation reports, and necessary documentation

● Schedule patients and manage electronic medical records

● Handle phone calls and emails

● Process referrals and faxes

● Ensure clinic areas are clean, organized, and well-maintained

● Assist patients with forms and documentation

● Take and record patient vitals

● Assist in cleaning and preparing procedure rooms for the next patient
