Job Description
ADGA is hiring a Physical Security Operation Centre Supervisor to manage our banking client’s Physical Security's ' Incident Reporting Centre (IRC) based in the Greater Toronto Area (Downtown Toronto & Mississauga). This site is the current intake, triage and escalation for physical security & life safety matters for our client in Canada, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
Our goal is to increase the security maturity of our banking client by creating a best-in-class, data driven, intelligence led Global Physical Security Operations Centre (GSOC). We will employ a holistic, proactive, and risk-based approach to security operations by elevating the capabilities of three main areas: People, Processes and Technology.
The Supervisor will manage IRC activities overnights, weekends and holidays and is directly accountable for the effective and efficient management of third-party IRC staff. This role leads and develops a team responsible for 24/7 monitoring of threats and managing the tools and processes that protect our client against physical security threats. The Supervisor collaborates with various Global Physical Security (GPS) as well as other lines of business teams to help enhance the security posture of the organization.
Job Tasks:
- Manage IRC activities and supervise IRC third-party Staff
- Monitor and identify threats, trends, and incidents affecting our client.
- Exceptional attention to detail, documentation, investigative and report writing skills
- Comfortable with ambiguity and working with large amounts of data and information
- Draft and review detailed reports on critical incidents.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Coordinate security guards as needed.
- Monitor and facilitate security-related incidents.
- Assess threats and make decisions based on data.
- Participate in Physical Security projects and monitor access control systems.
- Respond to security notifications and liaise with emergency services.
- Conduct open-source research and develop intelligence products.
- Multi-task and support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Understand and apply operating policies and procedures.
- Support business processes, procedures, and process improvement opportunities.
