The Role:

We're looking for a self-motivated, superstar Pharmacy Assistant I to join the amazing Pocketpills team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.


Job Duties:

  • Preparing prescriptions using pharmacy software
  • Dispensing, filling and shipping prescriptions
  • Receiving and putting away stock onto stock shelves
  • Efficiently count, measure, package and label prescriptions
  • Operate the Automated Tablet Packaging (ATP) machine
  • Prepare and package medication for shipping.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
  • Manage returns and expired products, including unpacking, sorting and disposal

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Pharmacy experience in dispensing prescriptions
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently exceeding productivity and quality standards
  • Enjoys multitasking and is proficient in computer handling skills

The annual compensation for this maternity leave position is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and alignment to the market.


Status:
Part time on a Maternity Leave Replacement Contract.
