We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects.
- Assist clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans.
- Document client progress and report any changes in health or behavior.
- Support clients with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and housekeeping.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Knowledge of hospice care practices and patient care techniques is advantageous.
- Skills in medication administration are beneficial for this role.
- A background in nursing or related fields can enhance your candidacy.
