PCA (casual, call-in)
Each RN, LPN and PCA are integral members of an interdisciplinary team which provides resident care in the health care section of Presentation Convent.
Employee responsibilities are performed in keeping with the philosophy of client-centered care in which the employee openly displays the attitude and belief that residents and families are the focus of care and activities.
PCA Position Summary
As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide support to residents in all aspects of daily living through holistic care. Duties include personal care, light housekeeping, meal assistance and other support services.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized Personal Care Attendant/Home Support Worker program which follows the provincial curriculum standards for training of Home Support Workers in Community Settings and Personal Care Attendants in Nursing Home Settings.
- Current knowledge and experience in the field of geriatric care and/or long term care.
