Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, including handling electronic medical records and maintaining efficient phone systems. Your attention to detail and familiarity with multidisciplinary clinic procedures will ensure a smooth experience for both patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling using Dentrix or Epic software, ensuring accurate patient records.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
- Maintain electronic medical records, ensuring all patient information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
- Assist in the management of office supplies and inventory to support daily operations.
- Provide administrative support to dental staff as needed, including preparing documents and managing patient files.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with patients and healthcare professionals.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or similar healthcare environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Jane App or Universal office desirable.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in front desk operations and phone systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset to facilitate effective interactions within the office.
