Located in Lévis, the Les Marronniers residence offers a friendly, stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those with mild impairments. We are currently seeking four people to fill part-time evening patient attendant positions. ***Candidates must have their AP/RPA training or DEP Personal Assistance in Institutions and at Home or RAC certificate or 5,000 hours accumulated over the last 5 years in PAB position + up-to-date 16-hour CPR + completed PDSP.***
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Schedule A: one 5/14 evening shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Schedule B: two 6/14 evening shifts from 3:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Schedule C: one 8/14 evening shift from 4 p.m. to midnight
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
- Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
- Contribute to the development of a residentsè action plan based on their observations
- Distribute medication in pill organizers and provide some invasive care (as needed and provided you have the necessary training)
- Respond to all emergency situations
- While interacting with them, report any noticeable changes in a residents mental or physical health to the on-call nurse.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Up-to-date CPR/AED general first aid training
- Law 90 training (an asset)
- AP/RPA or DEP training in personal assistance in establishments and at home
- PDSP training
