Nadège Patisserie We are hiring experienced Pastry Chefs (1 years of experience in pastry production) to join the team.
LOCATION: 855 Oxford St, Toronto, ON M8Z 1L6 (Islington and Evans) conveniently located right off the Gardiner Expressway with free parking and is also accessible by public transit.
Availability: Must have a flexible availability
*Must be already in Canada and have a valid working visa*
Availability: Must be able to start at 3:00 am and have a flexible availability (able to work weekdays, weekends and holidays).
Responsibilities:
- Follow proper prep and cooking techniques and coordinates the use of time, material, and equipment to avoid waste and unnecessary expense
- Must be able to make entremets, macaron, and classic French patisseries
- Must have strong time management skills
- Inspect and maintain the quality of the ingredients and measure them for specific recipes;
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety in accordance with Toronto's Food Handler certification program
Qualifications and/or Experiences:
- Pastry/Baking Diploma
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in a pastry production environment.
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays and be flexible as required.
- Ability to stand for 8-9 hour shifts, lift 25 lbs when required and perform regular, repeated movements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
