Fulltime Permanent Pastry cook
Schedule is Friday -Tuesday Must work weekends
We are currently hiring 1 pastry cook for our location in Kamloops. The ideal candidate is a team player who works well under pressure in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Must have Excellent English language communication skills
Food safe Certificate (required) get within 30 days
Baking / Pastry experience (require) 2-5 years the more the better.
Can lift 25lbs (Required)
Work weekends & 7:30-4 & 6-2 Shift (Required)
Job Functions
Understand baking ingredients
Be able to make cookies, bars and tarts, cake sponges, buttercream, muffins, scones, croissants
Responsible for daily and weekly pastry/ baking production
prepares all food items in a sanitary and timely manner
prepare food items consistently by adhering to all recipes
maintain a safe working environment by using safe food handling skills
work in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $19.50-$21.00 per hour
