Collision Repair Experts is looking for a Parts Manager !

The role as a Parts Manager is to manage all parts, materials, and other inventories operations, effectively and profitably. The Parts Manager is responsible for inventory control, maintaining an efficient level of service from suppliers, and staff utilization. The Parts Manager will ensure all orders are correct and processed on a timely basis. The Parts Manager will work with the Production department to achieve efficient vehicle flow.
Your responsibilities as a Parts Manager at Collision Repair Experts
- Ensure delivery times are met in a timely manner by following up on outstanding parts ordered.
- Follow up on all credits older than 24 hours.
- Mirror match and check all parts for damage before entering them into the BMS (Business Management System).
- Order, receive, return, post credits, and send PPCs (Parts Price Changes) into BMS.
- Post sublet invoices like a parts invoice.
- Track credits and ensure billing is accurate through daily reconciliation process.
- Confirm parts availability to help with TBI (To Be In) decision.
- Ensure parts are received prior to TBI Intake; notify Production Manager of what parts will not be received in time.
- Order, receive, return, post credits for a supplement or warranty.
- Control all parts, materials and other inventories through correct and efficient ordering and stocking processes.
- Contribute to “on time” vehicle deliveries and department profitability through proper management and best practices regarding ordering, receiving, staging, returning (etc.) of all parts and materials.
- Follow the Fix Network Parts Program and TD’s guidelines for parts selection.
- Contribute to profitability by establishing and monitoring vendor discounts and service levels.
- Contribute to profitability by working with estimators and repair planners to ensure all parts or materials are accounted for and invoiced correctly.
- Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school or college automotive body repair diploma
- At least 3 years of automotive parts management preferred
- Good knowledge of industry softwares such as Repair Center preferred
- Possess a valid drivers' license
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
