Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and valued. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a positive atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Assist with food handling and service in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and communication during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience in cashiering and processing payments.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
