Job Description:
Note: These positions are located at the St. Thomas/Elgin Regional Campus, 120 Bill Martyn Parkway, St. Thomas, Ontario
Hybrid Work: This position requires daily on-site presence and is not subject to hybrid work.
This is a part-time temporary Faculty position (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 3, 2025 and ending December 20, 2025. This position will teach Math at the St. Thomas Regional Campus.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
Excellent communicator
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and student evaluations are assets
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary 3-year degree in mathematics or related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ recent and relevant experience
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Strong technical mathematics background with a focus on basic algebra, trigonometry and geometry
Excellent communicator who is able to relate content to application
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
Strong computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and student evaluations are assets
Educational Credentials
While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory as a condition of employment.
