Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our daycare facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals for children. As a Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation, unique menu creation, grocery lists and ensuring you know all the allergies of the center.
Hours 8-12 or 9-1
Duties
- Prepare and cooking lunch for 48 children daily

- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
- Monitor levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock is low.

Experience
- Previous experience in meal preparation or cooking within the food service or food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that excite children.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
