Albion Neighbourhood Services (ANS) is a long-standing non-profit organization committed to supporting diverse communities in Northwest Toronto through accessible programs, services, and advocacy. We are dedicated to empowering individuals and families, fostering inclusion, and building community resilience.
We are seeking a Part-Time Communication & Fundraiser to support our comms and fundraising efforts, brand visibility, including donor engagement, event planning, as we continue to expand our impact in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead in the planning, promotion, and execution of a fundraising event in Fall of 2025.
- Lead all communication and social media.
- Cultivate relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
- Draft compelling donor communications, and sponsorship packages.
- Support social media and marketing efforts related to fundraising initiatives and ANS activities.
- Track donations, maintain donor records, and generate reports
- Collaborate with program teams to identify funding needs and share success stories that inspire donor engagement.
Qualifications:
- 2+ experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, or related non-profit roles or related education.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging proposals and donor materials.
- Comfortable building relationships and engaging with diverse community members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiar with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
Pay: $30/hour, including pay equity
Start date: September 15, 2025 – December 15, 2025
