Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerk to join our team. It would be 2 to 3 shifts per week Monday to Friday with some weekends/Holiday coverage - 14 to 20 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks that support the efficient operation of our office. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. The Clerk will play a crucial role in maintaining a welcoming front desk environment and ensuring that all administrative functions are carried out smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and manage front desk operations with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle incoming calls using phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date in our computerized systems.
- Assist with administrative duties including proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized records.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless office operations and provide assistance as required.
- Assist physician with daily operations of the clinic.
Qualifications
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
